The Arte Flamenco Dance Theatre, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit performing Flamenco and Spanish dance organization created to inspire public interest in and advance knowledge of the beauty and artistic heritage of these vibrant dance forms. Through dance classes, performances, lectures, demonstrations, and community outreach programs, Arte Flamenco actively succeeds in achieving its goals which include preserving the authentic tradition of spanish dance as well as presenting innovative interpretation in its performances. Arte Flamenco is dedicated to promoting the value of dance in contemporary society by enthusiastically introducing the public to Spanish dance and its relevance as a positive way to develop appreciation of artistic and cultural diversity.		Arte Flamenco provides an encouraging and supportive atmosphere for all those interested in learning more about spanish dance. It maintains the highest standards of excellence in dance education through its accessible style of instruction by professionally trained dancers. The Arte Flamenco Dance Theatre, Inc., was founded in 1989 by its Artistic Director, Clarita, when she returned to the United States after ten years of extensive training and touring in Spain.
